The Drug and Health Product Register

The Prescription Drug List is a list of prescription drugs and classes of prescription drugs established by the Minister of Health under section 29.1 of the Food and Drugs Act.

The Prescription Drug List has two parts:

• List related to drugs for human use
• List related to drugs for veterinary use

The Prescription Drug List does not include medicinal ingredients listed in the Schedules of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
